His down-to-earth nature helps patients feel at ease, and his passion for helping others is evident in every assessment.

A lifelong football enthusiast and proud Arsenal supporter, he enjoys staying active, engaging with his local church and community groups, and building meaningful relationships beyond medicine. Together, Dr. Skinner and Dr. Prince bring not only clinical expertise, but genuine humanity to every patient experience.

A Critical Gap in Adult Autism Care

Despite growing awareness, Calgary and Southern Alberta still lack any publicly funded clinics dedicated to adult autism diagnosis. The only government-supported clinic is in Edmonton—with a 5 to 7 year waitlist. Autism Exists Diagnosis Clinic is currently Calgary’s only provider of adult autism assessments covered by Alberta Health. Due to overwhelming demand, our waitlist has now reached 2 years and is temporarily closed.

Help Us Advocate for Access

We need your help. Please write to the Honourable Dan Williams, Minister of Mental Health and Addiction, and urge Alberta Health Services to fund publicly accessible adult autism diagnostic and support services in Calgary and across Southern Alberta.
