Opportunities to Train in Adult Autism Assessment & Diagnosis
Autism Exists Diagnosis Clinic is proud to offer a unique training opportunity for Physicians and Nurse Practitioners interested in developing expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in adults.
Across Alberta, there remains a critical shortage of publicly funded clinicians equipped to deliver timely ASD assessments. Our clinic is committed to closing this gap by empowering motivated healthcare professionals with the specialized skills needed to serve this growing population.
This hands-on training program is led by Dr. Gregory Skinner , one of Canada’s foremost experts in adult ASD diagnosis. The program is structured, comprehensive, and requires a strong commitment. Training schedules are arranged based on mutual availability.
Clinicians enrolled in this program will continue practicing within their own settings while applying the knowledge gained to enhance their current clinical services. Alternatively, participants may choose to complete locum hours at our clinic to further refine their skills in a supportive and specialized environment.
This is a rare opportunity to gain clinical competency in a highly specialized field—one that is urgently needed and deeply impactful. If you are passionate about neurodiversity, healthcare equity, and expanding your professional capacity, we welcome you to connect with us.
